Dear people of St. Gertrude’s:

Thank you all for your welcome and assistance over the last month as I have been getting settled down to life here at St. Gertrude's.

My goal for this year is primarily to get to know you and become familiar with the life of the parish and its rhythm through the course of the year.

We have a beautiful house of worship and I am so grateful to Fr. Paul for his personal welcome and assistance and for all the great work he has accomplished with repairs and upgrades, providing the leadership in paying off the parish debt with your support, serving you all with devotion and leaving me with a spotless rectory residence, until I filled it with my boxes!
