ONLINE EVENT RECOMMENDED BY THE OFFICE FOR PROMOTING CHRISTIAN UNITY AND RELIGIOUS RELATIONS WITH JUDAISM
An Ecumenical Prayer Vigil will take place just before the opening of the General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops in Rome to pray for the visible unity among Christians. Pope Francis will be joined by twelve representatives of various Christian traditions, including the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, Bartholomew I; and Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury along with several other church leaders from around the world.
