Knoll
The Knoll
THE STORY OF THE KNOLL AT THE NORTH END OF THE PARKING LOT When the construction of the parking lot on the west side of St. Gertrude's Parish started, human remains were found at the north end of the new parking lot. The remains were moved and reinterned on a grassy knoll on the north side of the parking lot. A white cross at the top of the knoll marks the spot. After searching the history of the site, no evidence as to whom the remains belonged to or how they got to be buried there were discovered.
