AN ONLINE EVENT RECOMMENDED BY THE OFFICE FOR PROMOTING CHRISTIAN UNITY AND RELIGIOUS RELATIONS WITH JUDAISM

Jesper Svartvik (a former Corcoran Visiting Professor at Boston College) will present the findings of his latest publication. The historical, cultural and theological connections between Judaism and early Christianity will be explored, highlighting the Jewish context of the New Testament. His study examines the complex relationship that has influenced Christian theology and biblical interpretation over time and offers strategies to prevent anti-Jewish readings of the New Testament, fostering better Jewish-Christian relations.
